Spectators: 7549 (Terracing: 5665, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonatan Maju started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Augustin Vergulescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scorpions -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Momentum FC's Eriberto Urtzi in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gregorio Gomesano ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Eriberto Urtzi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Ştefan Cipău fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scorpions -MM-'s protests and gave Ştefan Cipău a yellow card for diving instead. Momentum FC's Remigio Abastas was substituted for Eriberto Urtzi. The supporters of Momentum FC booed when Scorpions -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ştefan Cipău didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Vergulescu in the 28th minute of the match. After 30 minutes Momentum FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcel Corbu who took care of the corner kick. Scorpions -MM-'s Marcel Corbu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomas Mambru in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Momentum FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Lolo Miranda hit a great ball. Gregorio Gomesano kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Remigio Abastas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristinel Zdrobiş read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Momentum FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Horacio Igon hit a great ball. Alejo Maties took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristinel Zdrobiş. Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cristinel Zdrobiş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Abastas, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Scorpions -MM-'s Cristinel Zdrobiş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Abastas in the 46th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Jonatan Maju could shoot a difficult shot in the 48th minute, which Cristinel Zdrobiş however easily saved by the left post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Alex Vrânceanu made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Mambru made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Dan Năstase sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Abastas in the 56th minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Cristinel Zdrobiş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Remigio Abastas made a precise shot to the right of Cristinel Zdrobiş. Scorpions -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 61 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Vrânceanu came free, but Tomas Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horacio Igon hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Alex Vrânceanu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tomas Mambru, passed just outside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonatan Maju in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristinel Zdrobiş prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Momentum FC's Jonatan Maju in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scorpions -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. After 72 minutes, Braulio Otsoko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Momentum FC and the Scorpions -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gregorio Gomesano hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Cristinel Zdrobiş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Maju in the 76th minute of the match. Tomas Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Chirculescu in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Chirculescu came free, but Tomas Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Maju sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ştefan Cipău kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Cristinel Zdrobiş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Maju in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Dan Năstase hit a great ball. Cristinel Zdrobiş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Maju in the 92nd minute of play. Scorpions -MM-'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
