Augustin Vergulescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Cacá Sousa made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho de Salles came free, but Cristinel Zdrobiş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Adrianinho de Salles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scorpions -MM-'s Cristinel Zdrobiş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristinel Zdrobiş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrianinho de Salles's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute, Dito Rezende left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Scorpions -MM-'s Cristinel Zdrobiş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandinho Goiano in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Gonçalves in the 29th minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Cristinel Zdrobiş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristinel Zdrobiş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrianinho de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute Fernandinho Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristinel Zdrobiş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristinel Zdrobiş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandinho Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eric Cimpoieru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Adrianinho de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Scorpions -MM- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ were winning 0-1.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Fernandinho Goiano put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cristinel Zdrobiş. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dário Simão got free with Cristinel Zdrobiş in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 56 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Queirós came free, but Cristinel Zdrobiş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilie Huțanu during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ booed when Scorpions -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilie Huțanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Adrianinho de Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute, Michel Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Cimpoieru in the 67th minute of play forced Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cacá Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilie Huțanu hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, Adrianinho de Salles recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristinel Zdrobiş. Adrianinho de Salles showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Cristinel Zdrobiş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dito Rezende in the 74th minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Francisco Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernandinho Goiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Cristinel Zdrobiş made a huge save. After 83 played minutes Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Dito Rezende. Dário Simão hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Vergulescu came free, but Cacá Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ played a much better game than Scorpions -MM- and deserved their victory. The Scorpions -MM- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
