If Benigno Feo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Feo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Quintan in the 11th minute of play forced Abasto fútbol club's goalkeeper Ernesto Quexal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Abasto fútbol club's Amancio Pancho in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SOUTH THUNDER's goalie prevented a goal. In the 15th minute Amancio Pancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Pancho in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Froilan Aritza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, SOUTH THUNDER's Humberto Bixintxo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Severo Domeka kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Pancho in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match, Humberto Bixintxo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ernesto Quexal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Osvaldo Brun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Cordearo having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Humberto Bixintxo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ernesto Quexal, 2-0. Amancio Pancho struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Mauro Cordearo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abasto fútbol club. Amancio Pancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Cordearo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amancio Pancho ran back to his position shaking his head. 48 minutes into the game, Benigno Feo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mauro Cordearo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amancio Pancho to strike the kick off in the second half. If Amancio Pancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute of the match, Amancio Pancho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mauro Cordearo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Benigno Feo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mauro Cordearo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Amancio Pancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Osvaldo Brun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Quexal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Quintan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benigno Feo took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Cordearo. Mauro Cordearo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Alejo Videl charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejo Videl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Abasto fútbol club getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Alejo Videl hit a great ball. In the 82nd match minute, SOUTH THUNDER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Velasco to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Froilan Aritza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Gaspard hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. If Benigno Feo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benigno Feo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Mauro Cordearo made a huge save. After 95 played minutes Abasto fútbol club got a freekick which was hit by Abel Gaspard. In the 96th minute of the match Aquiles Jerold sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Quexal skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Abasto fútbol club's zone, Aquiles Jerold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Quexal came out of the goal and Aquiles Jerold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 98 minutes, Froilan Aritza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abasto fútbol club and the SOUTH THUNDER players grew even worse after the yellow card. Froilan Aritza kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match.
