Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Modesto Efraim kicked off to start the match. After 4 minutes, Panos Papathomas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olympiacos FC and the Plaza Jewell players grew even worse after the yellow card. Panos Papathomas kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Modesto Efraim's late challenge caught a Olympiacos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Modesto Efraim helped the player get up and apologised. Modesto Efraim hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Panos Papathomas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cesar Ranolfo. Plaza Jewell's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Panos Papathomas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Panos Papathomas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympiacos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Panos Papathomas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Ranolfo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 13 played minutes Plaza Jewell got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Sabino. In the 14th minute of the match Grigoris Plexioudas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesar Ranolfo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 15th minute Notis Trontzos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Plaza Jewell defense, Notis Trontzos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesar Ranolfo. The Plaza Jewell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesar Ranolfo should have stopped the shot. Cesar Ranolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Notis Trontzos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesar Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Notis Trontzos in the 24th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Panos Papathomas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Cesar Ranolfo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dimitris Koudas kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Eustratios Vertsotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Chabier in the 38th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goal looked a bit too open when Notis Trontzos came free, but Cesar Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Plaza Jewell players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olympiacos FC were winning 0-3.
The wind increased when Notis Trontzos made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitris Koudas in the 52nd minute of play forced Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Cesar Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Markos Kareklopoulos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 59 minutes into the match. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Olympiacos FC! Olympiacos FC:s Eustratios Vertsotis showed great skill when he stopped Laureano Chabier:s penalty. Ceferino Garin scored 1-3 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eustratios Vertsotis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Plaza Jewell made a substitution. Emanuel Lopes replaced Modesto Efraim. Notis Trontzos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Cesar Ranolfo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eugenios Papafotopoulos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cesar Ranolfo. Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dimitris Koudas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Cesar Ranolfo made a huge save. Cesar Ranolfo made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Notis Trontzos sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimitris Koudas got free with Cesar Ranolfo in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eustratios Vertsotis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute Plaza Jewell were awarded a corner. Ceferino Garin went to the cornerflag to take it. Emanuel Lopes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eustratios Vertsotis having to make a save. The Plaza Jewell supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Olympiacos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Olympiacos FC.
