An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Marcelino Haritzeder got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nigg Caduff hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Motala AIF's Elvir Langer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Garin in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Ceferino Garin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Elvir Langer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ceferino Garin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elvir Langer came out and tried to block the shot, but Ceferino Garin slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 12th minute. When Edy Erne fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Motala AIF's protests and gave Edy Erne a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Chabier in the 15th minute of play forced Motala AIF's goalkeeper Elvir Langer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Ivo Förster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 minutes, Jaime Gentza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plaza Jewell and the Motala AIF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jaime Gentza kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ceferino Garin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Elvir Langer made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Motala AIF's Mats Loose got a free kick in the 24th minute. Elvir Langer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narciso Matro went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 33rd minute, Ivo Förster left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Motala AIF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Elvir Langer made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Ceferino Garin sent off a good shot on target. Cesar Ranolfo came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Motala AIF's Ivo Förster. But to his dismay, Ivo Förster quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Modesto Efraim to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Motala AIF defense, Ceferino Garin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elvir Langer. The Motala AIF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elvir Langer should have stopped the shot. After 60 played minutes Plaza Jewell got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Igon. Motala AIF's Gaston Guerreiro was substituted for Kevin Stoffel. In the 61st match minute, Plaza Jewell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Igon to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Gaston Guerreiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Gaston Guerreiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cesar Ranolfo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-4. In the 75th match minute, Motala AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Loose to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th match minute, Plaza Jewell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Fidensio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Wieser in the 83rd minute of play forced Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Cesar Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Plaza Jewell's Cesar Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Förster in the 92nd minute of play. Elvir Langer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Garin in the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Plaza Jewell were the better team. Plaza Jewell's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
