Higinio Estevez hit a great ball. After 4 played minutes Olympiacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Dellios. In the 7th minute Notis Trontzos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Nabar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes, Dimitris Koudas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olympiacos FC and the SABALEPLUS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 8 played minutes Olympiacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Dimitris Koudas. Panos Papathomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Olympiacos FC's zone, Modesto Eliu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustratios Vertsotis came out of the goal and Modesto Eliu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, SABALEPLUS's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Koudas came free, but Guaberto Nabar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Notis Trontzos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympiacos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Notis Trontzos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guaberto Nabar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute, Modesto Eliu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Notis Trontzos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Nabar having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Modesto Eliu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eustratios Vertsotis. Olympiacos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Modesto Eliu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Julio Aurre came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the SABALEPLUS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Aurre couldn't finish the play. Julio Aurre's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Eustratios Vertsotis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Aaron Orzaize had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gogo Ruisko hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Guaberto Nabar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Koudas in the 47th minute of play.

Olympiacos FC made a substitution. Panos Loukas replaced Panos Papathomas. Olympiacos FC's Miltiadis Tsiranidis was substituted for Lazaros Tsakrilis. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Notis Trontzos to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, SABALEPLUS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Caradaro to maneuver through the defense. Guaberto Nabar acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Grigoris Plexioudas. In the 55th minute, Notis Trontzos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympiacos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The supporters of SABALEPLUS booed when Olympiacos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panos Loukas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olympiacos FC's Avraam Chalkias was substituted for Alexis Dellios. In the 60th minute, Panos Loukas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Orzaize scored 2-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eustratios Vertsotis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Eliu in the 67th minute of play forced Olympiacos FC's goalkeeper Eustratios Vertsotis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Olympiacos FC's Avraam Chalkias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guaberto Nabar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Guaberto Nabar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Avraam Chalkias went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. SABALEPLUS's Guaberto Nabar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save SABALEPLUS from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the match, SABALEPLUS's goalkeeper Guaberto Nabar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Avraam Chalkias. 84 minutes into the game, SABALEPLUS's Modesto Eliu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eustratios Vertsotis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. In the 87thth minute of the game Grigoris Plexioudas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SABALEPLUS's Guaberto Nabar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 89th minute, Olympiacos FC's Notis Trontzos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-5. Guaberto Nabar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Notis Trontzos in the 92nd minute of play. With a little luck, SABALEPLUS's Guaberto Nabar got control of the ball when Avraam Chalkias tried to sneak it across the goal line. The SABALEPLUS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Olympiacos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Olympiacos FC.
