Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, MOEBIO's goalkeeper Casimiro Ekaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boughera Benmabrouk. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fadhil Meniri in the 14th minute of play forced MOEBIO's goalkeeper Casimiro Ekaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Roque Honrio put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fathi Abbas. After a rather tough play, Salmiyah Power's Fadhil Meniri got a free kick in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roque Honrio in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fathi Abbas saved Salmiyah Power from getting behind. Efrain Mateo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fathi Abbas. Salmiyah Power's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Salmiyah Power getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Abdelhamid Menguellet hit a great ball. The supporters of MOEBIO booed when Salmiyah Power was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelhamid Menguellet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boughera Benmabrouk hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roque Honrio in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fathi Abbas saved Salmiyah Power from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Halim Zeghdoud got free with Casimiro Ekaitz in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Salmiyah Power's Nouara Medjani got a free kick in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Salmiyah Power's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Honrio came free, but Fathi Abbas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Roque Honrio sped through Salmiyah Power's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fathi Abbas. The crowd rose to their feet as Salmiyah Power's Abdelhamid Menguellet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Casimiro Ekaitz. That made the score 1-2 after 48 minutes of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boughera Benmabrouk to make the kick off. Roque Honrio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fathi Abbas having to make a save. 53 minutes into the match, MOEBIO's Roque Honrio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fathi Abbas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th minute Abdelhamid Menguellet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Ekaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The MOEBIO fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when MOEBIO's Roque Honrio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fathi Abbas made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Roque Honrio sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the game, Salmiyah Power's Abdelhamid Menguellet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casimiro Ekaitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Salmiyah Power made a substitution. Halim Djamel replaced Abdelhamid Menguellet. Salmiyah Power's Fathi Abbas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Honrio in the 84th minute of play. Fathi Abbas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roque Honrio in the 86th minute. In the 86th match minute, Salmiyah Power was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Smail Hima to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Fadhil Meniri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Hulberto in the 91st minute of play forced Salmiyah Power's goalkeeper Fathi Abbas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the MOEBIO defense, Smail Hima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casimiro Ekaitz. The MOEBIO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casimiro Ekaitz should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Salmiyah Power players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
