Arnau Venegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Santana having to interfere. Teodoro Dundan made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Breno de Moraes sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salbatore Eslava in the 10th minute of play forced Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalkeeper Caetano Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caetano Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salbatore Eslava, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manfredo Munhoz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teodoro Dundan came out and tried to block the shot, but Manfredo Munhoz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. After a rather tough play, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Breno de Moraes got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After some careless play in the Ferreira Lopes MZC defense, Salbatore Eslava kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caetano Santana. The Ferreira Lopes MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caetano Santana should have stopped the shot. Caetano Santana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reces Ayorecha went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Ferreira Lopes MZC defense, Madeo Aboitiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caetano Santana. The Ferreira Lopes MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caetano Santana should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Ferreira Lopes MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Luis Maralla came free, but Caetano Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Saverio Castillo Velasco fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Navalito's protests and gave Saverio Castillo Velasco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Saverio Castillo Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute Salbatore Eslava shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeca Torres during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Navalito booed when Ferreira Lopes MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeca Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Arnau Venegas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caetano Santana was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Arnau Venegas made the kick off in the second half. Breno de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Teodoro Dundan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 played minutes Reces Ayorecha rounded Ferreira Lopes MZC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-5. Caetano Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salbatore Eslava in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Navalito's Salbatore Eslava dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-6. Salbatore Eslava took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caetano Santana. Caetano Santana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-8. In the 70th match minute, Ferreira Lopes MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Francisco Eger to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the game, Navalito's Madeo Aboitiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caetano Santana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-9. Madeo Aboitiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caetano Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Manuel Rivadeneira in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Arnau Venegas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caetano Santana. Ferreira Lopes MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnau Venegas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-10. In the 85th minute, Navalito's Pedro Manuel Rivadeneira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Caetano Santana. Caetano Santana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-11. The crowd rose to their feet as Salbatore Eslava kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Caetano Santana. That made the score 2-12 in the 89 minute of play. Mané Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Arnau Venegas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Caetano Santana having to make a save. In the 96th minute, Pedro Manuel Rivadeneira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Navalito could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ferreira Lopes MZC throughout the match.
