In the 24th match minute, Ferreira Lopes MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Donato to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Maldonado in the 25th minute of play forced Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalkeeper Caetano Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caetano Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Maldonado in the 26th minute of the match. Ramiro Bertran scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caetano Santana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Eriberto Lesardo fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pilar FC's protests and gave Eriberto Lesardo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ferreira Lopes MZC booed when Pilar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Lesardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 minutes, Justino Eron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pilar FC and the Ferreira Lopes MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Justino Eron hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ezequiel Prata was the one to do the kick off. If Ramiro Bertran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61stth minute of the game Ezequiel Prata who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pilar FC's Silvio Cordairo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute, Severino Astrada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caetano Santana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 69 minutes into the match, Pilar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tarcisio Munhoz came free, but Silvio Cordairo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tarcisio Munhoz took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvio Cordairo. Silvio Cordairo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 77 minutes, Teodosio Asier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pilar FC and the Ferreira Lopes MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pilar FC's Silvio Cordairo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Prata in the 79th minute of play. Mané Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 89th match minute, Ferreira Lopes MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. Pilar FC's Justino Eron got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Justino Eron off the ground. A collision led to Pilar FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Justino Eron hit a great ball. Pilar FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
