Spectators: 7723 (Terracing: 5793, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) In the 4th minute Earle Franklin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Mitchell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th match minute, Santos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kris Marks to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kris Marks in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bickford Rafferty prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 11 minutes, Kris Marks made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Amputees FC's Bickford Rafferty tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Amputees FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Quade Leach hit a great ball. Kris Marks took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bickford Rafferty. Amputees FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kris Marks succeeded in the game's 17th minute to get real power on a long shot . Amputees FC's Bickford Rafferty hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-2! Bickford Rafferty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kris Marks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos FC were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Amputees FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kris Marks took the corner. In the 27th minute, Al Feutrill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 played minutes Amputees FC got a freekick which was hit by Quade Leach. Bickford Rafferty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desmond Rowell in the 31st minute of play. Earle Franklin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Jim Mitchell when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Earle Franklin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amputees FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Earle Franklin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jim Mitchell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jess Everett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Mitchell having to interfere. Desmond Rowell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bickford Rafferty having to interfere. Kris Marks's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bickford Rafferty firmly grabbed it by the left post. 65 minutes into the match, Earle Franklin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jim Mitchell. Santos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Earle Franklin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Ollie Heberle hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Desmond Rowell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bart Greenwood hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 82 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Louis Ragland. Bradshaw Hodson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Amputees FC booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desmond Rowell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrick Orlinsky charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrick Orlinsky the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rodrick Orlinsky hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Desmond Rowell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Amputees FC's goal looked a bit too open when Desmond Rowell came free, but Bickford Rafferty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's Dave Alford got a free kick in the 96th minute.
