With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sixto Cloyo in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaldo Matildo Armani saved Ríver Late from getting behind. In the 8th minute, Xose Cantiello fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Javier Gabirel, passed just outside the right post. Nereo Asur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ubaldo Matildo Armani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Matildo Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Leoiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute Sixto Cloyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ubaldo Matildo Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Cloyo in the 41st minute of play. Lupe Castañeda kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Sixto Cloyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Old Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Cloyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vitin Campon's late challenge caught a The Old Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Xacobo Rico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the game, Erlantz Penilla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Javier Gabirel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ríver Late were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
