Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Márcio Garcia to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Shark FC - FSCMZ's Jacinto Queiroz got a free kick in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Shark FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Kapera came free, but Glauco Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Kaczynski's late challenge caught a Shark FC - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
