Desiderio Ixaka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Brun came free, but Desiderio Ixaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximiliano Libertad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Desiderio Ixaka made a huge save. In the 34th minute Anacleto Beat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Ixaka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Real Ayuntamiento CF booed when Leon Platense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Ixaka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Raul Gartzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Chan in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Ixaka saved Leon Platense from getting behind. A collision led to Leon Platense getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Victorino Cefero hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Matias Ricart shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Desiderio Ixaka showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Errolan in the 94th minute of play forced Leon Platense's goalkeeper Desiderio Ixaka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Real Ayuntamiento CF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Leon Platense had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
