Dillon Yoder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koos Teunissen in the 5th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacques Brinke in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dillon Yoder saved Stowe City from getting behind. Dillon Yoder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerard Keupink went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute Gerard Keupink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dillon Yoder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Stowe City booed when Lemel SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerard Keupink didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenneth Sargent hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. A collision led to Lemel SV getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Gerard Keupink hit a great ball. When Nico-Jan de Zwart fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lemel SV's protests and gave Nico-Jan de Zwart a yellow card for diving instead. Nico-Jan de Zwart kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute of the match Cruz Biggs sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Folker Ubels skillfully saved the ball. In the 45th match minute, Lemel SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Rensenbrink to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Lemel SV were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Stowe City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Koos Teunissen scored to the left of an out of position Dillon Yoder, making the score, 0-2. Dillon Yoder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacques Brinke, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Nolan Hollis kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Gerard Keupink received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dillon Yoder came out and tried to block the shot, but Gerard Keupink slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 70th minute. After 88 minutes, Koos Teunissen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lemel SV and the Stowe City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Koos Teunissen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kenneth Sargent came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Stowe City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenneth Sargent couldn't finish the play.
