The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Fredric Söderqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victoriano Banegas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Lars-Erik Täman made a huge save. Lars-Erik Täman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Jurdan in the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Simbo FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Teodoro Havier hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Mauricio Jurdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Erik Täman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anier Guipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Marcus Helander notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Simbo FC's Jonas Brion. Jonas Brion was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 34 minutes into the match, Tomas Juvenal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lars-Erik Täman. Robíño Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Juvenal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Lars-Erik Täman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mauricio Jurdan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 40 minute of play. Lars-Erik Täman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Jurdan, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcus Helander to make the kick off. The supporters of Simbo FC booed when Robíño Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvin Vedholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lars-Erik Täman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Jurdan in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Gaudencio Dubardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrik Askberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonas Brion. Simbo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Robíño Football Club defense, Mauricio Jurdan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lars-Erik Täman. The Robíño Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars-Erik Täman should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Robíño Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Guipuzkoa came free, but Lars-Erik Täman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Helander hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Niklas Andersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lars-Erik Täman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Banegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Filiph Wickander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Robíño Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiph Wickander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 88 minutes, Marcial Belasko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Simbo FC and the Robíño Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Anier Guipuzkoa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Simbo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Simbo FC had played much better football throughout.
