In the 13th minute Cesar Sagrario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Silbestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernan Silbestre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Sagrario in the 16th minute of the match. Lino Naelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Constancio, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of LiBeRiA F.C. booed when Alijilán returns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Cefero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lino Naelio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Igor Cordairo. Ismael Esiquio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LiBeRiA F.C.'s Hernan Silbestre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Sagrario in the 39th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Bide to make the kick off. When Cesar Sagrario was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 52 minutes had been played. Lino Naelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, LiBeRiA F.C.'s goalkeeper Hernan Silbestre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Bide. Gustavo Bides short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Hernan Silbestre to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Americo Cefero charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Americo Cefero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Alijilán returns getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Americo Cefero hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Reyes in the 73rd minute of play forced Alijilán returns's goalkeeper Lino Naelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Guib charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltasar Guib the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gustavo Bide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Silbestre having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Angel Leguizamón got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Despite being the better team, Alijilán returns failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
