Honorato Montrel made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Lee Coffman sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lee Coffman got free with Honorato Montrel in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th play minute Lee Coffman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Honorato Montrel. 1-0. In the 20th match minute, Varennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brenton Carrasco to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Lazare Long was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Varennes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boulogne del Ciclón the free kick. In the 22nd match minute, Varennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lazare Long to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the game, Lee Coffman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Honorato Montrel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Boulogne del Ciclón getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Haroldo Firmin hit a great ball. After 32 minutes of play, Varennes's Brenton Carrasco made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Honorato Montrel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Varennes's Loic Deal was substituted for Brenton Carrasco. 37 minutes into the match, Boulogne del Ciclón's goal looked a bit too open when Lazare Long came free, but Honorato Montrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorato Montrel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ellsworth Lindsay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Iker Estavan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Varennes's Brad Elliott got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 43 minutes, Ellsworth Lindsay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Varennes and the Boulogne del Ciclón players grew even worse after the yellow card. Honorato Montrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ellsworth Lindsay in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Lee Coffman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Boulogne del Ciclón made a substitution. Abel Unai replaced Serafino Peyo. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcos Boulogne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Varennes's Lee Coffman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Honorato Montrel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Boulogne in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brice Leach saved Varennes from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee Coffman in the 68th minute of play forced Boulogne del Ciclón's goalkeeper Honorato Montrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Lee Coffman sped through Boulogne del Ciclón's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Honorato Montrel. Celedonio Danel kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. A collision led to Varennes getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Randell McCullough hit a great ball. Ellsworth Lindsay hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Honorato Montrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lee Coffman, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 78th minute, Lee Coffman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Honorato Montrel was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 85th minute Lee Coffman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Unai in the 87th minute of play forced Varennes's goalkeeper Brice Leach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Boulogne del Ciclón booed when Varennes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lee Coffman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Varennes's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Boulogne came free, but Brice Leach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lee Coffman's late challenge caught a Boulogne del Ciclón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lee Coffman helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Varennes's Lee Coffman got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute Lee Coffman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Boulogne del Ciclón players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Varennes.
