Emanuel Brandin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Fontanive in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of FC Snipers booed when Gladiator FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beppe Rivera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gladiator FC's Aurelio Epifani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Gladiator FC from getting a goal against them. Olov Groth lost his temper 16 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 16 minutes into the game, one of FC Snipers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Emanuel Brandin went to the wrong direction when Dino Cantagallo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Cesare Ronca struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Emanuel Brandin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gladiator FC. Emanuel Brandin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Africano in the 22nd minute of the match. Anton Pålsson hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Emanuel Brandin came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Gladiator FC's Amedeo Fontanive. But to his dismay, Amedeo Fontanive quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to FC Snipers getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Anton Pålsson hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arman Bremming in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Epifani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute, Bernardo Africano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gladiator FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Gladiator FC's zone, Greger Kullgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Epifani came out of the goal and Greger Kullgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Brandin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Africano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arman Bremming was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Greger Kullgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Snipers's supporters rose to their feet, but Greger Kullgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Epifani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, FC Snipers's Magne Ryberg got a free kick in the 57th minute. Gladiator FC made a substitution. Fausto Bellomo replaced Dino Cantagallo. Gladiator FC made a substitution. Enrico Gelsomini replaced Franco Cirone. A collision led to FC Snipers getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. After 70 played minutes Gladiator FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Africano. The supporters of FC Snipers booed when Gladiator FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beppe Rivera didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gladiator FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karl-Erik Sörman was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Snipers's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Karl-Erik Sörman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aurelio Epifani quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristiano Tatangelo tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Aurelio Epifani. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-3 in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Pålsson in the 81st minute of play forced Gladiator FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Epifani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Brandin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe Rivera, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Amedeo Fontanive fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Brandin having to interfere. Anton Pålsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelio Epifani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anton Pålsson ran back to his position shaking his head.
