Spectators: 7716 (Terracing: 5788, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Iosif Boldișor kicked off to start the match. Joel Estebano scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Inculeț, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silvano Resto charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvano Resto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Traian Opaina to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Yalapa's Jesus Galo got a free kick in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Yalapa's Jonathan Lapurdi got a free kick in the 16th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Traian Opaina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Traian Opaina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iosif Boldișor in the 27th minute of play forced Yalapa's goalkeeper Everardo Sal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Otoniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Inculeț having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Yalapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Rojelio to maneuver through the defense. Iosif Boldișor struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Everardo Sal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Estebano made a kick off. Leon Otoniel might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Inculeț. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leon Otoniel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 53rd minute, Joel Estebano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Joel Estebano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Traian Opaina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iosif Boldișor in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Everardo Sal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Yalapa getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Astor Petrigai hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a freekick which was hit by Iosif Boldișor. Ricardo Clis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Estebano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Inculeț having to interfere. If Ricardo Clis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 79 minutes in the game, Leon Otoniel fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Emil Inculeț having to interfere. Emil Inculeț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Estebano in the 80th minute of the match. After some careless play in the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV defense, Joel Estebano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emil Inculeț. The MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emil Inculeț should have stopped the shot. Everardo Sal came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Silviu Cutieru. But to his dismay, Silviu Cutieru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
