The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dacian Ilica's late challenge caught a Barsa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dacian Ilica helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute Arnaldo Sanduru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Inculeț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Inculeț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Sanduru, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Emil Inculeț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Eneas in the 27th minute of the match. Remigio Favila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dacian Ilica, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abelardo Eneas to make the kick off. After 72 minutes, Irinel Birișu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV and the Barsa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Barsa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Eneas to maneuver through the defense.
