Juninho Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Tepedino in the 16th minute of the match. Juninho Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Nonatos United's goal looked a bit too open when José Vítor Marinho came free, but Juninho Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Horácio Ferraz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samuca Freitas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Júlio Capixaba showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 40 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Paulinho Vides's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuca Freitas was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Gildo Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho Santana having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Nonatos United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gildo Nogueira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Paulinho Tepedino took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Juninho Santana to make any attempt to save it. Júlio Capixaba took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuca Freitas. When Gildo Nogueira fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BRASIL.Sp's protests and gave Gildo Nogueira a yellow card for diving instead. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Nonatos United lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
