In the 11th minute Damaso Orlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Raphael to maneuver through the defense. Aílton Alagoano's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aílton Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. Aílton Alagoano hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes, Eleuterio Confesor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Club and the ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Eleuterio Confesor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fernando Matos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Raphael went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 31 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Orlin. Damian Raphael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Luiz Fernando Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Damian Raphael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luiz Fernando Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Raphael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ defense, Damaso Orlin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Fernando Matos. The ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Fernando Matos should have stopped the shot.

≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ made a substitution. Fernandinho Baptista replaced Beto Bittencourt. The wind increased when Damian Raphael made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s zone, Damian Raphael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fernando Matos came out of the goal and Damian Raphael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute of the game Esteve Buinton made a throw-in which Vicente Colas played forward. The supporters of ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Musko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Raphael hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute of the match Haroldo Mineiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amado Galeno skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Damian Raphael hit a great ball. In the 74th minute of the match Faustão Maciel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amado Galeno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eleuterio Confesor hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Vicente Colas got a free kick in the 84th minute. After recieving a nice pass, ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s Faustão Maciel tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Racing Club's Damaso Orlin got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vicente Colas kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
