Baltasar Crispo made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Mateus Prates sent off a good shot on target. Mateus Prates who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Baltasar Crispo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Baltasar Crispo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mateus Prates showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 43 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mateus Prates was the one to do the kick off. If Humberto Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Braga's Albérico Vilaverde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Lain in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of • El Croacia fobal club • booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Figueiras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltasar Crispo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Bettencourt in the 82nd minute of play. After 87 played minutes • El Croacia fobal club • got a freekick which was hit by Benito Baldovino. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Osório in the 90th minute of play forced • El Croacia fobal club •'s goalkeeper Baltasar Crispo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SC Braga fully deserved thier win.
