In the last second Kléberson Abraão throw himself and got hold of the ball when Wesley Cage in the 4thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 6 played minutes Figueira SC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Carvalho. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Kléberson Abraão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Figueira SC FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Kléberson Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Cage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Cage came free, but Kléberson Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Donnie Whitehead managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inmortales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donnie Whitehead was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristopher Herndon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorival Matorin in the 42nd minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play, Inmortales FC's Tim Schaffer made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kléberson Abraão was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mitch Rushing to make the kick off. Wesley Cage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléberson Abraão having to interfere. Cristopher Herndon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorival Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Zack Calloway hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Mauro Toledo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristopher Herndon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reinaldo Carvalho during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Inmortales FC booed when Figueira SC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustão Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorival Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristopher Herndon having to interfere. Figueira SC FSCMZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
