After 3 played minutes, Plaza Babys CF's Ciceron Redondo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christian Giraldo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Plaza Babys CF reached it. Tito Casas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Chorche in the 21st minute of play. Luganeros AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adrian Efren in the 22nd minute. The corner ended in Gilberto Domenec almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Plaza Babys CF's Tito Casas did a great save. 23 minutes into the game, Luganeros AFC's Gilberto Domenec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tito Casas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Chorche in the 27th minute of play forced Plaza Babys CF's goalkeeper Tito Casas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Dorio hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Eustacio Estavan's late challenge caught a Plaza Babys CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustacio Estavan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Luganeros AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Eustacio Estavan hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Zunbeltz Zafrilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Luganeros AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Gilberto Domenec hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felip Navas made a kick off. Vinicio Soler lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Plaza Babys CF getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Vinicio Soler hit a great ball. Tito Casas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Chorche in the 56th minute of play. Christian Giraldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felip Navas's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. A collision led to Luganeros AFC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Gustavo Feliu hit a great ball. Christian Giraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felip Navas in the 66th minute of play. Plaza Babys CF's Tito Casas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Chorche in the 68th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Zunbeltz Zafrilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plaza Babys CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Zunbeltz Zafrilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Giraldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 73 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Jobo. In the 76th minute, Zunbeltz Zafrilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Giraldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felip Navas in the 78th minute of the match. Zunbeltz Zafrilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Giraldo having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Eustacio Estavan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 91 minutes, Zunbeltz Zafrilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plaza Babys CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zunbeltz Zafrilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Zunbeltz Zafrilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tito Casas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Chorche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Luganeros AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
