Dadá Massa's shot from long distance in the 38th minute was not bad at all, but Luganeros AFC's Christian Giraldo knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After having played for 42 minutes, Damian Chorche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luganeros AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Chorche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, Damian Chorche made a precise shot to the right of Juninho Porto. Quiroga F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Quiroga F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Luganeros AFC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elivélton Cunha was the one to do the kick off. Damian Chorche had several of the Quiroga F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 59 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Juninho Porto as he didn't even see the shot coming. Juninho Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damian Chorche's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Chorche got free with Juninho Porto in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian Giraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dadá Massa in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Quiroga F.C.'s Amauri Veiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Giraldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 69 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lino Remigio. Quiroga F.C.'s Juninho Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Chorche in the 75th minute of play. Juninho Porto was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Damian Chorche capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Damian Chorche really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Damian Chorche might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juninho Porto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Chorche ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Quiroga F.C.'s Juninho Porto got control of the ball when Abel Fanuco tried to sneak it across the goal line.
