The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dagoberto Lago the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Quiroga F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dagoberto Lago had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Juninho Porto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jesper Västlund went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Quiroga F.C. booed when FC NORDLAND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Eskilsson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
