Thanks to some nice moves Quico Buenaga could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Caetano Simões however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Programayin booed when £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adhemar Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duda Sena hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Programayin's Quico Buenaga got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Olando Liendo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Programayin's supporters rose to their feet, but Olando Liendo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caetano Simões breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eguen Catalan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cacá Diniz in the 22nd minute of play. Eguen Catalan came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™'s Terence Puskás. But to his dismay, Terence Puskás quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 38th minute, Cacá Diniz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olando Liendo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Caetano Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Sola in the 52nd minute of play. Cacá Diniz scored 0-5 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eguen Catalan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eguen Catalan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duda Sena in the 61st minute. Delmiro Sola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caetano Simões came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Programayin's Quico Buenaga. But to his dismay, Quico Buenaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Terence Puskás took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Eguen Catalan to make any attempt to save it. Eguen Catalan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Terence Puskás's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™ were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Programayin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Clóvis Barros took the corner. Eguen Catalan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Terence Puskás went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the match, Duda Sena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eguen Catalan. Programayin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Duda Sena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. Cacá Diniz struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Eguen Catalan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™.
