Wilfredo Rodriguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Berriotxoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. A collision led to the xeneise dream team getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Albano Quirze hit a great ball. After 7 played minutes, Brown Puerto Madryn's Mauro Ekain shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cayetano Perutxo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brown Puerto Madryn reached it. Cayetano Perutxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Ilazki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 played minutes Brown Puerto Madryn got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Kemen. After some careless play in the the xeneise dream team defense, Teofilo Kemen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Perutxo. The the xeneise dream team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Perutxo should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Ilazki in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Perutxo saved the xeneise dream team from getting behind. A collision led to the xeneise dream team getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Florentino Llorienzo hit a great ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Ernesto Johans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brown Puerto Madryn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Johans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cayetano Perutxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Kemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute of the match Brown Puerto Madryn got a corner. the xeneise dream team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mauro Ekain ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Berriotxoa in the 33rd minute of play forced Brown Puerto Madryn's goalkeeper Wilfredo Rodriguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cayetano Perutxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Johans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute Brown Puerto Madryn were awarded a corner. Mauro Ekain went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of the xeneise dream team's goalie and right to Diego Ilazki. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. the xeneise dream team's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Ernesto Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Esteve Ignado came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the the xeneise dream team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteve Ignado couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Ernesto Johans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Perutxo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Brown Puerto Madryn's Teofilo Kemen got a free kick in the 55th minute. Brown Puerto Madryn's Wilfredo Rodriguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Ignado in the 69th minute of play. Wilfredo Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Berriotxoa in the 71st minute of the match. After 71 played minutes Brown Puerto Madryn got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Vargas. In the 72nd minute, Evaristo Belmiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brown Puerto Madryn's Wilfredo Rodriguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Belmiro in the 76th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Julian Berriotxoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayetano Perutxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Kemen in the 85th minute of the match. After 86 minutes, Lino Mambru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the the xeneise dream team and the Brown Puerto Madryn players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lino Mambru kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. A hard shot by Mauro Ekain from long distance, 87 minutes into the match, got Cayetano Perutxo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 88 played minutes Brown Puerto Madryn got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Johans. 91 minutes into the game, Leandro Vargas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brown Puerto Madryn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave the xeneise dream team the free kick. 96 minutes into the game, Diego Ilazki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cayetano Perutxo. Diego Ilazki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The Brown Puerto Madryn supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Brown Puerto Madryn would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
