After 8 minutes, Reynaldo Batista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fractal FC and the Recolta Alamor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Fractal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Batista to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randall Jaramillo in the 9th minute of play forced Fractal FC's goalkeeper Alberto Cordaryal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Cordaryal acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 10th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hans Kuhn. The supporters of Recolta Alamor booed when Fractal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Diagur didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Tyson Helton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alberto Cordaryal, 1-0. In the 21st minute, Wilfredo Laurendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Arellano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Laurendi in the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Fractal FC booed when Recolta Alamor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyson Helton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lino Orti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Arellano having to interfere. A collision led to Recolta Alamor getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Norberto Ivey hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Ildefonso Bautista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilson Arellano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Orti in the 33rd minute of play. When Dylan Beckman fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Recolta Alamor's protests and gave Dylan Beckman a yellow card for diving instead. Tyson Helton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Recolta Alamor defense, Wilfredo Laurendi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Arellano. The Recolta Alamor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Arellano should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Randall Jaramillo made the kick off in the second half. Alberto Cordaryal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyson Helton in the 51st minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Wilson Arellano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Fractal FC defense, Hans Kuhn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Cordaryal. The Fractal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Cordaryal should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute, Victor Azeari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Recolta Alamor's Wilson Arellano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Recolta Alamor from getting a goal against them. If Hans Kuhn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Recolta Alamor's Peter Pujols was substituted for Vern Smalls. Cornelio Librado's late challenge caught a Recolta Alamor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cornelio Librado helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Recolta Alamor's Hans Kuhn got a free kick in the 77th minute. Wilson Arellano made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Reynaldo Batista sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Laurendi got free with Wilson Arellano in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Randall Jaramillo scored 3-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Cordaryal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Recolta Alamor's Wilbert Velasco was substituted for Fred Finn. In the 89th minute, Ildefonso Bautista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ildefonso Bautista hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Hans Kuhn, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
