Donato Guerriero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristoforo Arpaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Cordaryal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristoforo Arpaia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fractal FC were furious when Arnulfo Karmel was red carded, 24 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Atletico Benevento. Alberto Berardini stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alberto Cordaryal. 0-2. In the 31st minute, Lino Orti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atletico Benevento's Antonello Doris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Benevento from getting a goal against them. Antonello Doris was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Severino Domenec showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 35 minute of play. Alberto Cordaryal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Mei in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Fractal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Mei came free, but Alberto Cordaryal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Alex Mei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Cordaryal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes Atletico Benevento got a freekick which was hit by Alex Mei. Nicolas Abella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonello Doris having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Mei to make the kick off. After 67 played minutes Atletico Benevento got a freekick which was hit by Donato Sessa. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Benevento's zone, Nicolas Abella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonello Doris came out of the goal and Nicolas Abella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 71 played minutes Atletico Benevento got a freekick which was hit by Bianco Cusumano. Donato Sessa's late challenge caught a Fractal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Sessa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Donato Sessa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Fractal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Mei came free, but Alberto Cordaryal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Orti took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antonello Doris. Antonello Doris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 86thth minute of the game Nicolas Abella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Benevento's Antonello Doris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antonello Doris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Orti in the 91st minute of the match. When Cristoforo Arpaia fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Benevento's protests and gave Cristoforo Arpaia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fractal FC booed when Atletico Benevento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo Arpaia didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Alex Mei got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
