Florian Rutecki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartosz Klawke in the 25th minute of play forced Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Clemencín Moltedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute of the match, Hipolito Ross tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Florian Rutecki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Inter de Chillán players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
