Dionisio Odon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Nicanor Bazil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Kamal Habib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pance Tarmadi hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The supporters of Deportivo Tachito booed when Lucky Star was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ading Restiana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Rudolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamal Habib having to interfere. If Damian Saturnin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Tachito's Victoriano Erroman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fance Burhanuddin in the 42nd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Lucky Star's Ruben Solossa was substituted for Fance Burhanuddin. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicanor Bazil to make the kick off. If Roni Latul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kamal Habib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Rudolfo in the 71st minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Sondang Gultom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dionisio Odon in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kamal Habib saved Lucky Star from getting behind. Kamal Habib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Rudolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Deportivo Tachito's Dionisio Odon pulled a muscle in his leg after 87 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Lucky Star's Mandra Wisanggeni got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Justino Feliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
