Eric Fransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosalio Azcoitia having to interfere. In the 17th minute Matthias Stephansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosalio Azcoitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Enzo Vogrinčič took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Östen Carlsson to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in United 11 FC's zone, Enzo Vogrinčič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Östen Carlsson came out of the goal and Enzo Vogrinčič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matthias Stephansson in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rosalio Azcoitia saved Playa Malvín from getting behind. Lucado Centeno's late challenge caught a United 11 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eric Fransson to strike the kick off in the second half. Östen Carlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loren Bargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the United 11 FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Playa Malvín.
