The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Endi Prawiranegara during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Endi Prawiranegara kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Ulaş Arya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute İlkan Ağın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurniawan Bisri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, İlkan Ağın cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kurniawan Bisri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute, PHOENIX SC's Bagol Kalla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The supporters of PHOENIX SC booed when Büyükada Commandos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aral Saltık didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leo Kawilarang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wawan Setiamiharja could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Alişan Evvel made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulaş Arya in the 40th minute of play forced PHOENIX SC's goalkeeper Kurniawan Bisri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Johan Assegaf had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alişan Evvel. Büyükada Commandos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johan Assegaf was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 45 minutes into the match, PHOENIX SC's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Bedri Sözmen came free, but Kurniawan Bisri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

PHOENIX SC's Achmad Sudarmaji was substituted for Januar Guntara. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johan Assegaf was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Büyükada Commandos getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mehmet Bedri Sözmen hit a great ball. PHOENIX SC's Leo Kawilarang got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX SC's Deden Amiruddin got a free kick in the 58th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, İlkan Ağın managed to get in a good position for a shot. Büyükada Commandos's supporters rose to their feet, but İlkan Ağın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurniawan Bisri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alişan Evvel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Kawilarang in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Deden Amiruddin notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Büyükada Commandos's Alişan Evvel. Alişan Evvel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Büyükada Commandos's Hadi Melik was substituted for Bican Vecid. Büyükada Commandos made a substitution. Vahap Ünek replaced İlkan Ağın. When Büyükada Commandos's Vahap Ünek in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PHOENIX SC's goalie prevented a goal. 74 minutes into the match, Büyükada Commandos's goal looked a bit too open when Wawan Setiamiharja came free, but Alişan Evvel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Kawilarang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Alişan Evvel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Harseno Julianto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Vahap Ünek put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Kurniawan Bisri. Büyükada Commandos's Alişan Evvel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Assegaf in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute Ulaş Arya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurniawan Bisri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alişan Evvel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wawan Setiamiharja in the 91st minute of the match. If Johan Assegaf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurniawan Bisri was a little too slow when Vahap Ünek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 3-3. A collision led to PHOENIX SC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Otang Haryanto Ie hit a great ball. PHOENIX SC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
