Mourent Sutimbul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Macaneață, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Begu Ganjang's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Octavian Chiriacescu took the corner. Codruț Macaneață hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a good free kick, Codruț Macaneață got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Begu Ganjang. Uus Himawan charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uus Himawan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 44 minutes into the match, Begu Ganjang's goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Ghițescu came free, but Mourent Sutimbul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Begu Ganjang made a substitution. Haryanto Nurpijal replaced Hilman Cahyono Putro. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wawan Poerwonegoro to make the kick off. Mourent Sutimbul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iurie Bănățeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Valer Onișoru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uus Himawan in the 71st minute of play. Dacian Ghițescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mourent Sutimbul having to interfere. Haryanto Nurpijal kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Leontin Titulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Mourent Sutimbul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
