In the 13th minute Jeremias Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoph Hagemans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Reynaldo Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Purple Talents's Eddy Claes got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oscar Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Claes in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Purple Talents was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jasper Libreghts to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, UPTEXTIL.COM's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Claes came free, but Oscar Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Dudu da Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Christoph Hagemans. Purple Talents's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee ignored Purple Talents's protests and gave Brecht De Wortelaer a yellow card for diving instead. Brecht De Wortelaer kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Purple Talents's Christoph Hagemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Barros in the 99th minute of play. The Purple Talents supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching UPTEXTIL.COM's performance. The match ended with a win for UPTEXTIL.COM.
