The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes Lobo Guará got a freekick which was hit by Cacá de Lara. In the 8th minute, one of Trixande Fåglar BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Trixande Fåglar BK. In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Lobo Guará. Roberto Baiano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Börge Jelm. 0-1. Dário Lima was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Dário Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilhelm Rudkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Karl-Magnus Stålman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vânderson Esteves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens-Åke Larsfelt's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. If Wilhelm Rudkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vânderson Esteves made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Jens-Åke Larsfelt sent off a good shot on target. Börge Jelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jailson Batista in the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lobo Guará's Iuri Leão got a free kick in the 31st minute. After 33 played minutes Trixande Fåglar BK got a freekick which was hit by Wilhelm Rudkvist.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafa Donatello to strike the kick off in the second half. Vânderson Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Rudkvist in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Lobo Guará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jailson Batista to maneuver through the defense. Lobo Guará made a substitution. Adalberto Fantini replaced Roberto Baiano. After 60 played minutes Lobo Guará got a freekick which was hit by Jailson Batista. 68 minutes into the match, Jailson Batista dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Börge Jelm, 0-2. Börge Jelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jailson Batista in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Magnus Stålman in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vânderson Esteves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute, Adalberto Fantini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lobo Guará's Rafa Donatello got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 95 minutes, Wilhelm Rudkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trixande Fåglar BK and the Lobo Guará players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lobo Guará eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
