Spectators: 8149 (Terracing: 6113, Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 162) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Harry Schoovaerts started the match with the kick off. Jordy Steckens acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 3rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Elia Granata. The audience thought a goal was coming when Attilio Scarpa got free with Jordy Steckens in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 5 minutes into the match, Circus BAF's goalkeeper Jordy Steckens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sérgio Conceicão. 6 minutes into the game, Lukas Gobbelijns was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Circus BAF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OldHighburyInvincibles the free kick. Lukas Gobbelijns hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Alberigo Scacchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jordy Steckens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attilio Scarpa in the 15th minute of the match. Circus BAF's Jordy Steckens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Scarpa in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute Attilio Scarpa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordy Steckens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Onana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Gobbelijns, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Circus BAF's Roger Louis got a free kick in the 27th minute. With an all-out effort, OldHighburyInvincibles's Jordy Steckens threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Attilio Scarpa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Attilio Scarpa in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jordy Steckens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Johan Van De Broeck got a throw-in 39 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Brain Van Mellart. Jordy Steckens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Scarpa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 minutes, Bernardo Rocco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OldHighburyInvincibles and the Circus BAF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Harry Schoovaerts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Attilio Scarpa to strike the kick off in the second half. Circus BAF's Jordy Steckens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Scarpa in the 52nd minute of play. Jordy Steckens came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by OldHighburyInvincibles's Attilio Scarpa. But to his dismay, Attilio Scarpa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Bert Van Linthout recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. OldHighburyInvincibles's Luka Toni was substituted for Attilio Scarpa. When OldHighburyInvincibles's Luka Toni in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Circus BAF's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bert Van Linthout got free with André Onana in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jordy Steckens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luka Toni, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Harry Schoovaerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. André Onana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Onana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brain Van Mellart in the 81st minute of the match. André Onana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brain Van Mellart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 minutes, Nils Struelens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Circus BAF and the OldHighburyInvincibles players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Circus BAF's Luka De Raedemaeker got a free kick in the 87th minute. Circus BAF's Jordy Steckens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Toni in the 90th minute of play. OldHighburyInvincibles's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
