Spectators: 7961 (Terracing: 5972, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 158) After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes de América's zone, Ruslan Hohryakov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hipolito Matro came out of the goal and Ruslan Hohryakov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Argoitz got free with Zinoviy Hantsev in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Estudiantes de América's Hipolito Matro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frol Tolbuhin in the 12th minute of play. Elias Argoitz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Zinoviy Hantsev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Zinoviy Hantsev successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 25 minutes into the game, Arsenal F.C.'s Ruslan Hohryakov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hipolito Matro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Zinoviy Hantsev was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Ezequiel Luke capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ezequiel Luke really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 35th minute, Estudiantes de América's Ezequiel Luke dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Hipolito Matro came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal F.C.'s Ernest Alferov. But to his dismay, Ernest Alferov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. With a little luck, Arsenal F.C.'s Zinoviy Hantsev got control of the ball when Ezequiel Luke tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denis Mon hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Ezequiel Luke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estudiantes de América fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ezequiel Luke made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Filiberto Ourente left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 85th minute, Arsenal F.C.'s Frol Tolbuhin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hipolito Matro. Hipolito Matro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-3. Estudiantes de América's Rolando Lugo was substituted for Ildefonso Balesio. Konstantin Kalinin charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Konstantin Kalinin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Konstantin Kalinin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Arsenal F.C. getting a freekick after 92 minutes play.
