Desire Remirez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gustav Goens came out and tried to block the shot, but Desire Remirez slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 35th minute. When Desire Remirez in the 41st play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Gustav Goens kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Gustav Goens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabon Castrejana in the 45th minute.

If Hector-Luis Almandoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Benny Valckeneers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ongile Reguer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Popolizio FBC had won after a very even match.
