The supporters of La Scaloneta booed when Słodkie Cytryny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Wisniewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartlomiej Gleba came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by La Scaloneta's Lion Messi. But to his dismay, Lion Messi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to La Scaloneta getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Lionel Messi hit a great ball. Edward Wisniewski came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adolfo Lohitzun could save by the left post. In the 28th minute Lionel Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartlomiej Gleba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Słodkie Cytryny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Slazak to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Lionel Messi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Scaloneta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After 39 minutes, Roman Slazak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Słodkie Cytryny and the La Scaloneta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rosendo Sasoin scored 1-4 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bartlomiej Gleba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half La Scaloneta were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lionel Messi made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Maksymilian Witwicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute Edward Wisniewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Lohitzun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Słodkie Cytryny's goalkeeper Bartlomiej Gleba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rosendo Sasoin. Ángel-Fabián Di María hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Miromir Franzik shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolfo Lohitzun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ángel-Fabián Di María kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Adolfo Lohitzun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Slazak, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, Roman Slazak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Lion Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartlomiej Gleba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Słodkie Cytryny supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching La Scaloneta's performance. The match ended with a win for La Scaloneta.
