Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Norman-Alexander Wellmann successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FV Wienerwald's Norman-Alexander Wellmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Valverde in the 5th minute of play. After some careless play in the FV Wienerwald defense, Federico Valverde kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norman-Alexander Wellmann. The FV Wienerwald fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norman-Alexander Wellmann should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute, Jo Jani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Giesen in the 24th minute of play forced C.S.D Punta Ballena's goalkeeper Jorrin Artiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Björn Gottschling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carolo Viya hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When Mikel Envito came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the C.S.D Punta Ballena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikel Envito couldn't finish the play. When C.S.D Punta Ballena's Federico Valverde in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored C.S.D Punta Ballena's protests and gave Nevada Chapital a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes C.S.D Punta Ballena got a freekick which was hit by Nevada Chapital. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luca Ternes to make the kick off. In the 58th minute Luca Ternes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorrin Artiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FV Wienerwald's Tommi Braun was substituted for Jan-Erik Gleissner. Waldemar Giesen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, C.S.D Punta Ballena's goal looked a bit too open when Andre-Yann Kahofer came free, but Jorrin Artiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, FV Wienerwald's Waldemar Giesen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jorrin Artiz. Jorrin Artiz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 94 minutes into the game, when Daniel Strack put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of FV Wienerwald:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.S.D Punta Ballena:s goal. In the 95th minute, Diegotxe Carvajal made a precise shot to the right of Norman-Alexander Wellmann. FV Wienerwald's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 100 minutes into the game, C.S.D Punta Ballena's Carolo Viya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Norman-Alexander Wellmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. When the referee ended the match the C.S.D Punta Ballena players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
