Jarana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Perutxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palle Irø in the 23rd minute of play forced Jarana FC's goalkeeper Juan Caton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th match minute, Couto Mixto F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Correa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okke Manda in the 29th minute of play forced Jarana FC's goalkeeper Juan Caton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarana FC's Juan Caton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Palle Irø in the 34th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Couto Mixto F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Palle Irø to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Palle Irø to make the kick off. Couto Mixto F.C.'s Isidro Arribas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Mattin in the 51st minute of play. Couto Mixto F.C.'s Isidro Arribas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Couto Mixto F.C. from getting a goal against them. Juan Caton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Palle Irø, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Jarana FC's Serafin Menendo got a free kick in the 68th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Couto Mixto F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Albano Perutxo came free, but Isidro Arribas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesus Maidana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Arsenio Mattin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidro Arribas. Couto Mixto F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arsenio Mattin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Jarana FC fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Jarana FC's Jesus Maidana looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Jarana FC defense, Jerico Reyes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Caton. The Jarana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Caton should have stopped the shot. If Jesus Maidana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
