After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Benicio Felipillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. El ultimo's supporters rose to their feet, but Benicio Felipillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisc Firoiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to The Owls getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Liviu Bacanu hit a great ball. In the 24th minute of the match Saul Peruanton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisc Firoiu skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in El ultimo's zone, Rareș Tomulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernan Eron came out of the goal and Rareș Tomulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexandru Coporan struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Hernan Eron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Owls. Francisc Firoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Lore, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 44th minute of the match, Ivan Lore tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Francisc Firoiu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 45th minute, Benicio Felipillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Ivan Lore made the kick off in the second half. Ivan Lore charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Lore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, El ultimo's Ivan Lore got a free kick in the 60th minute. Constantino Stanislao's late challenge caught a The Owls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantino Stanislao helped the player get up and apologised. After 62 played minutes El ultimo got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Stanislao. El ultimo's Hugo Fidele was substituted for Erubiel Gorka. Hernan Eron made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Alexandru Coporan sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute, Bruno Mouricio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Constantino Stanislao made a precise shot to the right of Francisc Firoiu. The Owls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Ivan Lore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisc Firoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Lore, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Constantino Stanislao ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th match minute, El ultimo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Lore to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, El ultimo could leave the field as winners, despite The Owls having more of the ball for most of the match.
