In the 47th minute El ultimo were awarded a corner. Amador Gurutz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Amador Gurutz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Zuera Never End MZC's Afonsinho Sampaio did a great save. After the first half Zuera Never End MZC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeferson Vasconcelos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57thth minute of the game Gaspar Salomone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zuera Never End MZC's Afonsinho Sampaio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Zuera Never End MZC booed when El ultimo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Lore didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd match minute, El ultimo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Peio to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Aguiar in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernan Eron saved El ultimo from getting behind. In the 72nd minute, Ezequiel Meira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Geovanni Travassos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zuera Never End MZC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El ultimo the free kick. After a rather tough play, Zuera Never End MZC's Jeferson Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 95th minute.
