The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Petruț Alecu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Owls and the Gondor FC™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Francisc Firoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perica Tadić, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Gondor FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Sever Zăreanu came free, but Dragoljub Sakibović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to The Owls getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Damian Bârlea hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandru Coporan got free with Dragoljub Sakibović in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rareș Tomulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisc Firoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perica Tadić, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th match minute, Gondor FC™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miki Kordić to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Nazif Ahmetović had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisc Firoiu. The Owls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nazif Ahmetović was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Francisc Firoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferid Habibović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gondor FC™'s Dragoljub Sakibović proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Gondor FC™ from getting a goal against them. After 41 minutes Gondor FC™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sever Zăreanu who took care of the corner kick. Petruț Alecu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Miki Kordić hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Rareș Tomulescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Dragoljub Sakibović when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After the first half Gondor FC™ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gondor FC™ made a substitution. Dalibor Smajlagić replaced Zumbul Julić. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Perica Tadić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gondor FC™'s Dragoljub Sakibović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Tomulescu in the 60th minute of play. With a little luck, The Owls's Francisc Firoiu got control of the ball when Ferid Habibović tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francisc Firoiu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mirnes Vejranović showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 64 minute of play. Gondor FC™'s Aragorn King was substituted for Perica Tadić. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalibor Smajlagić during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes Gondor FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Dalibor Smajlagić. 75 minutes into the game, Aragorn King recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Francisc Firoiu. Aragorn King showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 79th match minute, The Owls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin Ifrim to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Gondor FC™'s Ilderin Primorac got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gondor FC™'s zone, Rareș Tomulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dragoljub Sakibović came out of the goal and Rareș Tomulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugen Chiriacescu lost his temper 89 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Eugen Chiriacescu kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Ilderin Primorac took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Francisc Firoiu. The Owls's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Francisc Firoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aragorn King in the 96th minute of play. The Gondor FC™ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
