An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Geerts in the 16th minute of play forced KN ZGORZELEC's goalkeeper Emil Piszczor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, KN ZGORZELEC's goal looked a bit too open when Leon van der Vaart came free, but Emil Piszczor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bob van der Werff in the 19th minute of play forced KN ZGORZELEC's goalkeeper Emil Piszczor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Piszczor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon van der Vaart in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Bob van der Werff's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Piszczor was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bob van der Werff to make the kick off. One of ASV Muziekwijk:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KN ZGORZELEC:s goal. Emil Piszczor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon van der Vaart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the ASV Muziekwijk defense, Stanislaw Sienkiewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Hoogsteen. The ASV Muziekwijk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Hoogsteen should have stopped the shot. The supporters of ASV Muziekwijk booed when KN ZGORZELEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Zagrobelny didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by KN ZGORZELEC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabian Meinders was slow to take the kick. During this time ASV Muziekwijk's players had a chance to rest. The corner led ASV Muziekwijk's Fabian Meinders to fire away a dangerous shot which Emil Piszczor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thomas Hoogsteen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislaw Sienkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Konrad Zagrobelny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Tom Houtman had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Jedrzej Kissel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played.
