The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of ASV Muziekwijk booed when Los Hermanos CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabian Meinders struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Lucas Donnarumma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASV Muziekwijk. Thomas Hoogsteen made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Jairo Machado sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute Los Hermanos CIMZ were awarded a corner. Edmundo da Cunha went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Edmundo da Cunha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thomas Hoogsteen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. ASV Muziekwijk's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Valério Rosado 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Edmundo da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thomas Hoogsteen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jairo Machado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. Valério Rosado in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thomas Hoogsteen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 32nd minute Leon van der Vaart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Donnarumma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ASV Muziekwijk getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Fabian Meinders hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Ulisses Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes Los Hermanos CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho Leal. With 47 minutes on the clock, Luiz Fabiano Fantini commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jairo Machado to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Jairo Machado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Thomas Hoogsteen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jairo Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Los Hermanos CIMZ made a substitution. Jeferson Toledo replaced Ruy Amorim. When Joost Peeters fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASV Muziekwijk's protests and gave Joost Peeters a yellow card for diving instead. Thomas Hoogsteen had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Edmundo da Cunha's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Edmundo da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 99 played minutes Los Hermanos CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo da Cunha. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Los Hermanos CIMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while ASV Muziekwijk had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
