The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Atlético Municipal's Marz Arratia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by CJ Ibrahimović in the 2nd minute of play. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's 邱风常 was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marz Arratia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 12 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Llope Alva came free, but 俞震坚 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nacho Atienza in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of 俞震坚, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 14 minutes into the match, Nacho Atienza notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Chinese CJ Youth Academy's 俞震坚. 俞震坚 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marz Arratia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from CJ Ibrahimović in the 21st minute of the match. Marz Arratia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 方翀棋, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by CJ Ibrahimović in the 25th minute of play forced Atlético Municipal's goalkeeper Marz Arratia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg 俞震坚 managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Atlético Municipal's Nacho Atienza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zuhaitz Periceira during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Atlético Municipal getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Zuhaitz Periceira hit a great ball. After 42 minutes, Bastiaro Fresco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Municipal and the Chinese CJ Youth Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Bastiaro Fresco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's CJ Ibrahimović got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nacho Atienza made a kick off. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's 俞震坚 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacho Atienza in the 56th minute of play. 方翀棋 hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, Atlético Municipal's Nacho Atienza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 俞震坚 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 方翀棋 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marz Arratia came out and tried to block the shot, but 方翀棋 slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 64th minute. 俞震坚 came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Municipal's Nacho Atienza. But to his dismay, Nacho Atienza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After 77 minutes, Nacho Atienza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Municipal and the Chinese CJ Youth Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chinese CJ Youth Academy booed when Atlético Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nacho Atienza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by 邱风常 in the 78th minute really tested Marz Arratia's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 86th minute, CJ Ibrahimović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marz Arratia was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 89th match minute, Chinese CJ Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by CJ Traoré to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Llope Alva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 俞震坚. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Llope Alva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. A collision led to Chinese CJ Youth Academy getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. CJ Ibrahimović hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the match, Zuhaitz Periceira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 俞震坚. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zuhaitz Periceira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
